AGB Zone 14 Award

The Activity Group of Belarus (AGB) offers a large number of Amateur Radio operating awards. Several of their awards are based on the zones of the world created as part of CQ Magazine’s Worked All Zones program. Zone 14 covers much of western Europe. AGB offers up the Zone 14 award for working Ham Radio stations just within that zone.

AGB Zone 14 Award

The entry level award (Class III) requires just 10 QSOs with stations in at least 8 different DXCC entities. There are currently 26 entities in Zone 14. Class II requires 20 QSOs and 16 entities while the top Class I requires 30 QSOs and 25 entities.

But these three certificates are just the beginning of the AGB award program for Zone 14. There are also awards for working stations on a specific band (160M through 2M) or using a specific mode (one of FT4, FT8, JT65, JT9, T10 or JS8).

The certificate features a Matrix-like background and a map of the countries that make up the zone.

To apply for the Zone 14 Award, and all other AGB awards, you must install the UltimateAAC application on a Windows machine. That application scans your WSJT-X ADIF log file and will inform you when you’ve qualified for the award at various levels. AGB issues the award in digital form only (JPG or PDF) with no printing or shipping costs. In fact, the award is completely free, like all of their other awards.
